Rehabilitation of a building on Woodburn Ave
This building, consisiting eight apartments and two storefronts, was purchased in May 1978. Acting as owner,developer and general contractor, the RF completed rehab in fifteen months. The building now contains four two bedroom apts, one bedroom apt and two storefronts.
Purchase of 24 HUD-owned buildings
From 1978 to 1982, the RF purchased 24 HUD owned buildings. The RF rehabbed the buildings and all of the units were subsidized under section 8 programs.

Purchase and Rehab of Harrison Hall
In Nov.1981, the RF embarked on its first economic development project. The L.B. Harrison Club biulding was purchased and rehabbed into a high class office space.

Multi-Family Homesteading The RF worked under contract for the City of Cincinnati to develop a model which would make homeownership opportunities avaliable to moderate income individuals in small multi-family buildings. Wendy's Restaurant The RF entered into a joint venture with a minority franchise holder to bring Wendy's Restaurant to Walnut Hills.
Walnut Hills Center This project converted the Cummins School into office space for small and mid-size business. McMillian Place This was a joint venture with a private developer. The RF owns the land and the devloper built 35 townhomes on the site.
Walnut Court Housing This project was developed for low/moderate income people with physical disabilities.This facility has 21 one bedroom apts. and 9 two bedroom apts. 1505 Lincoln Ave. This was a vacant single family house which the RF rehabbed into a two family home and was sold in 1989.
